Dancing to a Different Drummer

This summer has been quite the summer.  I've driven here and there, spending most time on the road. Interviews, shadowing, volunteering, hospitals visits--a summer on the road.  My life I've always wanted to be a plan to get from point A to point B.  God's teaching me that life wouldn't require faith if it was all planned out simply...and thus, it's been a summer of surrendering my plan and growing in faith. My grandma isn't doing the greatest.  I could go into detail or give a fast description of what's going on, but no words really can describe the daily emotions behind it all.  In essence, we're not sure whether she'll ever be the same.  I was taking it really well, knowing that it was my job to be the solid foundation for my mom, as she is having a hard time watching her mom go through this.  I've always been the one to keep a clear head during times of difficulty, mostly because I've been able to separate myself from the situatio...
