As I was writing it, I noticed swelling on my sternum, and long story short I went to the ER until 3am. I went from being so sad about something, to being so scared for what was going on with my body. Perspective is everything. I discovered that I don't like living alone. I discovered that even in a city, even in the middle of a crowd, you can feel very alone. At the same time, I discovered that even when I'm alone driving 4 hours to my apartment, I can feel comforted. I can feel full of life.
